This is an Exemplar Global recognized course on Maritime Lead Auditor. This course provides relevant knowledge and expertise necessary to plan and conduct first, second and third party audits and verification according to ISM, ISPS and MLC codes.

This course incorporates interactive group exercises to improve communication and auditing skills and strengthen overall performance as an auditor.

Course Objectives
 

On completion of the course:

Participants will understand and be able to interpret the requirements of International Safety Management (ISM) Code, International Ship and Port Facility (ISPS) Code, Maritime Labour Convention (MLC).

Participants will be qualified as lead auditors (ISM, ISPS, MLC) enabling them to prepare and conduct first, second and third party audits/verifications of ships and shipping companies.

Participants will gain knowledge and tools necessary for managing audit programs of shipping companies and certification bodies.

Course Duration

The course consists of an instructor lead virtual classroom (16 hrs) and self-paced e-learning modules (~14 hrs).
